My name Is Malachi & I am loving and super fun! I have Autism so my parents started an at home Son-Rise Program to teach me. Now we're looking for fun & loving people to come join my team to play with me and encourage my communication, social interaction and growth! 

WHAT WE'RE DOING:

 Looking for energetic, fun, loving, patient, outgoing individuals who are ready to work with children one on one, and help them reach their fullest potential.

We're hiring  part-time staff to join our team in a non-judgmental, child led, play based program for a beautiful child  who is on the autism spectrum. 

We implement the Son Rise Program (no previous experience in this approach is necessary), which is designed to help children reach developmental, speech, and educational goals through play!

You will be paired with our family and provide in home visits.

Here is what a typical day looks like (9AM- 5PM)

-Arrive at child's home approx. 9AM (parents and program managers present for supervision and instruction)
-Review developmental goals and games for the day-
-Implement play session 1 (2 1/2 hour session)
-Review session and document progress
-Break for lunch (on or off site)
Implement play session 2 (2 1/2- 3 hour session)
-Review session and document progress.
-Drive home knowing you made a difference and wondering why you haven't been working with us for years!

Responsibilities:

Learn and implement the play based In home Son-Rise approach

Create and implement games based on the child's goals and abilities

Report and track progress of the client's development


Qualifications:

Must be willing and physically able to play daily for extended hours

Must be able to travel to the Upper Marlboro MD Area daily
Must be energetic, fun loving and teachable.

Previous experience with children is a plus

Any background in therapy or education is a plus

Salary
Full- Time 
 ($40,000-$45,000)

Part-Time
$20 an hr. 

Requirements:

Clear State & Federal Background Check will be required.

Comfortable leading and working in a Christian faith based organization 

Able to work
 full-time (40 hrs a week
 or part-time (6-20 hrs a week)
 or volunteer (4-6 hrs a week)
